Studying the Processes of Globalization through Institutional Perspective
Abstract
If there is a need to differentiate time to rethink the social development, it is now. Accelerating pace of change is caught the majority of the international community unprepared. People, goods and capital, are now moving with such speed and complexity; it is difficult to make predictions for more than a few years. The crisis forced upon the world by a fundamental change in the basic structure of production and distribution in the global economy, so the developing countries face a huge tidal wave of opportunities and challenges in this new era of globalization and led their economies restructuring, which in many cases have disastrous consequences. All these changes generate enormous social tensions which development policies fail to address directly.
