Abstract

Development of mass communication evolution is full of unprecedented unanalogous cultural and communicational metamorphoses, with new cultural practices and behavioral changes.

Through various kind of mass media, e-reading has become the main communication activity in modern  mediatized society.

This article is an attempt to reveal the modern media determined dimensions of the transformations in reading, based on some two sociological researches, conducted in 2015 by the leadership of Dobrinka Peicheva within the research project at the South West University.
